Emily Squance graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University in May 2023, where she discovered her passion for storytelling through multiple creative outlets. While managing the Scripps School’s social media platform, she developed a deeper love for graphic design and content creation, further fueling her interest in visual storytelling. Beyond her design work, Emily enjoys writing and capturing compelling moments through photography.
During college, she interned with A Plus Staffing Solutions, an experience that introduced her to the vibrant city of Columbus. Inspired by its dynamic community, she decided to make Columbus her home. Emily has a deep appreciation for art, animals, and sharing people’s stories, which drives her dedication to journalism and creative communication. Whether she’s crafting engaging content, designing eye-catching visuals, or photographing events, Emily’s passion lies in bringing stories to life.
