OHLA Welcomes Director of Events Brenna Smith

OHLA’s staff, board, committees and members are extremely happy to welcome new team member Brenna Smith, as the association’s new Director of Events. Brenna joins OHLA with extensive experience in meeting planning and events, including as an Event Producer for Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, where she was part of a successful and award-winning organization recognized for its ability to create quality, spectacular experiences. She brings that skill and enthusiasm with her to OHLA, where she looks forward to working alongside our members and volunteers to continue to raise the bar for everything we do.

Her commitment to our industry and her excitement to join the team underscore OHLA’s efforts to provide the highest level of service to our members each and every day, including the upcoming Annual Conference & Awards Gala on November 23-24. She will work closely with OHLA’s Conference & Events Committee, Emerging Professionals group, and other volunteers and leaders. She is a 2021 graduate with honors from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Linder College of Business. Brenna succeeds Michele Marcinick, who just recently departed OHLA after 8 years to accept an exciting opportunity at the internationally recognized Online Computer Library Center in Dublin, where we all wish her the very best for the future.
