Essential Duties:

Develop private event & catering programs including menu, pricing strategy, sales materials, etc.
Plan & execute public, private, weddings, and branded events.
Maintain a working calendar & knowledge of all events, sometimes up to 10 at once with the Operations team.
Create new & intriguing events that align with Ørchard on Catawba Island strategic vision in partnership with Brand Manager.
Gather qual & quant data feedback from guests & apply for future event success.
Have extensive knowledge of annual Vintners Club membership & ability to sell to prospective members.
Collaborate with Brand Manager on bi-weekly marketing campaigns for ticket sales, private event & Vintners Club awareness & updates.
Professionally respond within 24 hours to event inquiries and members.
Reports directly to owners & strong daily collaboration with the entire Management team.

Skills Needed:

Proficient in Google Platform.
Use of billing methods, contracts & invoice preparation.
Outstanding communication and writing.
Able to develop strong relationships with members and event inquiries.
Attention to detail and timely execution on tasks.
Willingness to take on responsibility and be a self-starter.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in Event Management.
Weekend availability required, with much email and phone correspondence occurring outside of traditional business hours.
$40,000-$50,000 annual salary based on qualifications & experience with additional sales commission.
Two weeks paid vacation during off-season, no healthcare or retirement benefits offered currently.
