Hilton Columbus at Easton
A born and raised Ohio native, Executive Chef Timothy J. Dionisio hails from Youngstown and is proud to serve up regional specialties to our guests and celebrate great local flavors. He enjoys partnering with local farms, artisans, and purveyors for fresh seasonal ingredients to bring out the best in each recipe. With a creative eye and a passion for cooking, Tim leads his culinary team to welcome every guest with great food and heartfelt hospitality. Chef Tim has an impressive culinary career on his back and a wealth of expertise in opening and overseeing some of Ohio’s best venues. He earned his first Sous Chef position when launching the 4-Star, 4 Diamond Hilton Columbus at Easton, where he went on to master his craft for the next 12 years.
With new ambitions on the horizon, he accepted a position as Executive Sous Chef to open the Hollywood Casino Columbus, where he oversaw five distinct restaurants with a 150-person crew. Chef Tim was then tapped to be the Executive Chef of The Ohio State University Athletic Department, where he was responsible for feeding 100,000 plus screaming football fans every Saturday at Ohio Stadium, better known as "The Horseshoe" as well as the 20,000-seat Jerome Schottenstein Center Arena, and the 18,000 seat Columbus Crew's Mapfre Stadium. Since fueling the Buckeyes to several National Championships, he has now returned to his home here at the Columbus Hilton at Easton, bringing 32 years of experience to create memorable dishes for you, our esteemed guests. Prior to his days in some of Ohio’s biggest kitchens, Chef Tim attended the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he aimed to pursue a degree in illustration and animation. Although a talented graphic designer and avid ice sculptor, he swapped his pencils and brushes for a set of knives to channel his creative energy into a culinary career.
