As a Sales Manager, you'll be primarily responsible for ensuring that revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by identifying and developing opportunities. As a member of the hotel team, the Sales Manager will be expected to assist with a variety of duties when needed. A team-oriented mentality is a necessity for success in this role. Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain client base for specific markets to include organizations, associations, social groups, transient and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales, in order to secure business for the hotel.

- Conduct tours of the hotel; entertain qualified potential clients in accordance with company and property policies and procedures.

- Forecast and analysis of all segments of business on a regular basis and booking-related items such as cancellations and no-shows.

- Review sales statistics & market analysis to formulate policy, determine client needs, occupancy potential, and desired rates.

- Ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded at the hotel.

- Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as directed by the General Manager. Requirements:

- Have two or more years of experience in Hotel Sales, Hilton experience is preferred.

- Individual must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Computer literacy, with the ability to easily navigate database, browser, email, document and various applications.

- A reliable and responsible character with exceptional follow up and attention to detail.

- Proactive approach, with exceptional problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.

- Ability to work effectively as an independent contributor and as a part of a collaborative team.
