Cedar Point offers details, drawings of hotel renovations at Sawmill Creek, Castaway Bay

SANDUSKY, Ohio – It’s early January in Northern Ohio – time to start thinking about summer vacation.

If Cedar Point is on your go-to list this year, you’ll have a couple new places to consider if you’re planning to spend the night.

The amusement park is in the middle of major renovations to its Sawmill Creek and Castaway Bay properties, both of which are expected to reopen this year.

Work on both resorts was initially projected to be completed last year. Both projects were delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
