Amanda Peltier

Director of Education, Workforce & Foundation

Amanda brings more than 18 years of trade association experience to OHLA, recently serving as Vice President of Education and Workforce Development at the Ohio Insurance Institute (OII), leading the industry’s Insuring Ohio Futures initiative. Her work led to OII becoming the first U.S. recipient of the Fundación MAPFRE International Insurance Award for their insurance careers site and the OII receiving a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil Award. In 2019, the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) named Amanda an Insurance Emerging Leader.

Before joining OII, Amanda was an aide in the Ohio Senate and worked in commercial real estate. She has served as an advisory board member for several Ohio universities’ risk management and insurance programs, and she currently serves as Immediate Past President of the managing board of directors for the Ohio Business Week Foundation.

Amanda is a graduate of Miami University and resides in Upper Arlington.
