Sara Tennyson-Harlan

Director of Membership & Engagement

Sara Tennyson-Harlan brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University before relocating to Charleston, South Carolina. There, she served as the Catering and Group Sales Manager for a boutique hotel.  Upon returning to the Columbus area, Sara spent 14 years as Director of Membership at The Ohio State University Faculty Club, where she played a key role in member engagement and relations.

Throughout her career, Sara has actively participated in numerous industry associations, including the Charleston Travel Council, Charleston CVB, Charleston Hoteliers Exchange Club, Experience Columbus, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, and the Professional Club Marketing Association.

Sara currently resides in Westerville with her husband and two young children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring new restaurants—especially those with great pizza—and cheering on the Buckeyes.
